OK, so in my last post i told you that I'm going to change the topic of this blog, and so I did.
Ok this post goes out to all the girls.
Have you ever fallen in love with someone, either your friend or someone you barley talk to?
Well I know the feeling. Love and relationships are a hard thing to get around when you enter high school and everyone else already has a boyfriend.
Well I'm going to tell you my story.
I was one of his friends in elementary, but then high school came along and well, I got to know him a little better and sooner or later I realized I liked him. It was killing me inside. I wanted to tell him so bad but something kept holding me back.
Finally I was out on my roof looking at the stars and texting him (texting is the number one communication in teens). I suddenly felt the urge to tell him, I mean, what’s the worst that could happen?
I then texted some of my most trusted friends. One of them knew him really well. I asked them if they thought I should tell him and of course most of their replies were “Follow your heart” or “Do what you think is right,” but the reply from the one who knew him really well said, “You should,” I contemplated it a bit more and then finally decided.
I texted him saying this,
“I want to tell you something… but you have to promise that we will still stay friends after I tell you, and nothing will be awkward between us…” he promised and then that’s when I told him, “I…like you…”
There wasn’t much of a response besides “It’s good to tell people how you feel.” And that was about it.
We acted normally around each other for the next few months but then… one of those most trusted friends… the one who told me I should tell him… stabbed me in the back.
He and she started dating.
Continues in the next post…
